On
Sunday 20th May 2007 the Woodberry welcomed back Steve
Swinnerton. On his last visit to the Woodberry he was
accompanied by his brother Jim and they sang a variety
of covers to a full packed house. This time round Steve
was alone as his brother is touring Australia. Once more
it was a full house as Steve took to the stage for his
solo debut. With a touch of nerves he opened with the
Stereophonics classic 'Have A Nice Day'. This was to be
followed with tracks by the likes of REM, Paul Simon and
even an Elton John track. The night was a success for
the crowds who had come to see Steve and I am sure with
his following he will soon pack the Woodberry again.
